Hulu's adopting an interesting release schedule for Candy by putting out a new episode a day over five successive days. It's the most recent in a long parade of true crime adaptations that also includes Andrew Garfield's Under the Banner of Heaven, the Theranos drama The Dropout, and the 'texting suicide' series The Girl From Plainville. The latest addition to our list of the best shows to watch on Hulu is Candy, which stars Jessica Biel as '80s housewife/ax murderer Candy Montgomery.
Hulu (as well as pretty much every other streaming platform and network, but we're here to talk about Hulu) is going hard for true crime limited series this year.
